As a new type of block material the concrete perforated brick has the advantages of high strength, light weight, Protect environment etc, more and more used in load-bearing masonry wall. As is known to all, wall cracks of masonry structure is an inevitable problem and it has plagued the majority of researchers. In this respect, the study of traditional masonry structure wall crack has been relatively mature,Research on the use of concrete perforated brick of the new block wall material is still in the exploratory stage. Therefore, this paper uses the finite element analysis method, using the ANSYS large general finite element software to concrete porous brick wall crack problems under static load for numerical simulation analysis.This paper first introduces the general situation of research at home and abroad on the masonry structure crack and finite element simulation of the relevant literature,based on the experience of the numerical simulation aspect, discussing the types and causes of cracks in masonry structure, including the reason of crack on the load.Secondly, site testing a multistory masonry structure of the perforated concrete brick wall, obtaining first-hand testing data. T he concrete porous brick wall is without reinforcement structure, local appear inclined cracks. Using rebound method to test the strength of perforated brick and mortar, Founding that the wall masonry mortar strength is extremely low, basic no strength, a preliminary analysis of the cracks in the wall had a great deal to do with that.Finally, finite element numerical simulation to the detection of cracks in concrete porous brick wall, to simulate the effects from the strength of mortar and block strength of wall cracking load, through the analysis of the simulation results obtain that masonry mortar strength is easy to cause the wall cracking, and the strength of perforated brick of wall crack is moreobvious, we can start from the aspects of increase block strength to enhance the quality of the modern masonry structure.
