Smart grid is under rapid development in our country, with the deepening of the smart grid construction, smart substation construction also in rapid development as a core part of the smart grid. At the same time, the management and maintenance of smart substation put forward higher requirements. In order to further improve the operation reliability of smart substation, online monitoring and fault diagnosis of the secondary equipment has become a research hotspot.Smart substation secondary equipment including merging unit, intelligent terminals, such as protection, fault wave record intelligent electronic devices (IED), responsible for acquiring smart substation data and monitoring primary system, its reliability has a pivotal role on smart substation operation. At present, all intelligent electronic device of smart substation are modeled according to the IEC61850, all use the same modeling language and modeling way, follow the same communication standards and protocols, a variety of self-checking data, the running state of the internal all included in the model of the IED, various IED communication and interaction between through standard network message, provide a wealth of information to establish online monitoring and fault diagnosis of the secondary equipment.Based on study on monitoring and fault diagnosis of secondary equipment of smart substation, puts forward and implements monitoring method of the secondary equipment based on three kinds of information, establish fault and abnormal diagnosis strategy based on monitoring information. Content is as follows:(1)Self-checking information monitoring of the secondary equipment. Secondary equipment usually has a strong self-checking function, self-check information can reflect the foreseeable fault with the device itself, is established in the kind of information in the model of the equipment. This article introduced the self-check information modeling and its configuration file description method in detail, put forward through analyzing the profile of the secondary equipment, information real-time reading method of getting self-checking information data path, a detailed analysis of the configuration file parsing process, draw the basic flow chart of the parsing process.(2)Time synchronization monitoring of the secondary equipment. In view of the current time synchronization of smart substation secondary equipment lacking of effective monitoring, this paper adopts two kinds of means of monitoring of time synchronization; One is based on self-checking information of time synchronization, monitoring clock status automatically generated by the equipment, introduce self-checking information model of time synchronization of the clock equipment and by GPS clock device; Another kind is the monitoring of clock precision on the basis of the principle of table tennis,SNTP time synchronization message is used to calculate the clock deviation of secondary equipment, realize the monitoring of clock accuracy, developed the client software of measuring clock deviation.(3)Communication message monitoring of the secondary equipment. By reading and parsing the abnormal message included in the network packet analysis recording device,established the anomaly diagnosis model of the SV, GOOSE message, judge whether the communication message is abnormal, monitor the communication condition of the secondary equipment.(4)Comprehensive fault diagnosis. The secondary equipment fault diagnosis is grounded on the self-checking information, time synchronization information, communication message, according to the logical relationship among various information, by virtue of the inference of intelligent algorithm, to determine the fault equipment. Put forward fault diagnostic reasoning process of four major secondary equipment of station.
