With the increasing problems of energy and environment,renewable energy has been paid more and more attention such as wind.However,because of the stochastic and intermittent characteristics of wind,the output of wind turbines are volatile,thus to bring a series of negative impact on reliable operatrion of power system.Energy storage system real-time characteristics of the absorption and release of energy,effectively compensating for the stochastic and intermittent characteristics of wind,and smoothing the output of wind turbine.improving the system reliability.So more and more wind farms are configured energy storage system.The use of energy storage system puts forward new requirements to reliability evaluation of power system. The operating strategies and operating characteristics of energy storage system will have an impact on the reliability of the system.The main content of article can be summarized as follows:(1) Introducing the basic concepts and evaluation index of power system assessment,and describing several forecast model and probabilistic model of wind speed,deriving the Weibull distribution model.Rayleigh distribution model and auto-regressive moving average model,combing the reliability model of wind turbine and conventional units,the generating and transmissing system reliability model based on Monte-Carlo simulation is built. The case shows that the wind farm improves system reliability once connected to power system.(2) Analyzing the impact on system reliability connected to the grid after a different capacity of wind turbines,wind turbines at different access points and the same capacity of wind turbines and conventional units by the case.(3) Proposed from different angles of the three commonly used charging-discharging strategies of energy storage system.establishing reliability model of energy storage system based on the tree operating strategies.Building the reliability evaluation model for wind farm considering energy storage system,combined with the reliability model of wind farm and other elements.The case shows the validity of the operating strategies model and analyzing system reliability level of different operating strategies.(4) Operating characteristics of the energy storage system has a great influence on the charging-dischargingprocess.The impacts of changing the capacity of energy storage system and the maximum charging-discharging power are also analyzed.
