Research On High-Rise Elevator Floor Door’s Fire Test

With the development of high-rise buildings, the fire of high-rise buildings has been paid more and more attention. In case of fire, the elevator is not to serve as an escape tool for escape, because it’s mainly limited to the elevator floor door’s fire resistance performance.Aiming at the elevator floor door’s fire resistance performance, experimental research on the high-rise elevator floor door was conducted in this paper, including designing test devices, determining test methods, doing simulation analysis and fire experiment. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) The overall layout of the elevator floor door’s test devices was constructed, including heating furnace, gas system, system of data acquisition and analysis system for control. Using the corresponding measuring instruments, data acquisition system developed the corresponding temperature measurement system, pressure measurement system and gas leakage measurement system.(2) Determine the test method of the elevator floor door’s fire test, including test principle, the corresponding test conditions, test procedures, evaluation standards and data analysis. And test conditions include temperature, pressure conditions and elevator floor door samples. Data analysis include the calculation of gas leakage and the pressure correction.(3) The thermal-stress coupling analysis of the elevator floor door was made by using ANSYS. The temperature and force distribution of the elevator floor door in the process of fire test was studied and optimization of the elevator floor door’s structure was made. It was found that reasonable arrangement of stiffener spacing, number on the back surface of the elevator floor door can effectively reduce the range of the maximum temperature region on the front surface of the elevator floor door.(4) The fire test of the elevator floor door was done and the test results were analyzed, which compared with the simulation results. It was found that the experimental results and simulation results coincided well with each other. At last, the assessment of the elevator floor door’s fire resistance performance was done.
