Research And Application Of Wohushan Reservoir Flood Control System

Wohushan Reservoir is a large comprehensive reservoir, which is located in the southern of Jinan. It has integrated founctions of flood control, irrigation, urban water supply and recharge. Wohushan Reservoir belongs to the Yellow River system. The river basin area is 557 square kilometers and has 119.5 million cubic meters capacity, including 62.7 million cubic meters utilizable capacity. Improving the flood control and disaster mitigation system is quit important for protecting the Yellow river and down stream villages in the south of Jinan.Based on the existing flood control and disaster mitigation system, this research adopts the combined methods of investigations, theoretical simulation and comprehensive analysis. The main contents and innovations of this research are flood forecasting system for the upstream basin, flood control and automation,flood management.(1) Analyzing and evaluating the existing WoHuShan reservoir flood control and disaster mitigation system;(2). Establishing the reservoir upstream flood forecasting model and optimizing the reservoir basin area rainwater telemetry point layout;(3) Integrating the monitoring and prediction management system of the flood control and automation. Taking risk analysis on the downstream of the reservoir flood submerged area and putting forward the treatment measures.
