Steel tubular scaffolding is scaffolding system widely used in construction engineering, mainly include steel tubular scaffolding with couplers、 frame scaffolding with steel tubes and cuplok steel tubular scaffolding. Among them, the steel tubular scaffolding with couplers in construction is most widely applied in Engineering, and played the most important role in the modernization construction. Although scaffolding is a temporary facility, but its construction efficiency and safety performance, will directly affect the progress of the project, cost and quality. In spite of steel tubular scaffolding with couplers is used widely, but in fact, it has many shortcomings, Such as installation speed is slow, infirm connection, can’t even guarantee steel pipe horizontal and vertical, due to its overall weak, and greatly influenced by human factors. Compared with other new type scaffold, It is relatively backward scaffold forms, there is much safety hidden trouble, even cause scaffolding collapse, cause an accident. Therefore, new type scaffold must develop better integrity, and put up more convenient. Because of this, we must develop new scaffolding.The purpose of this paper is, by doing further research on the card slot node, the design of new scaffolding pole system innovation. And further on its stress performance simulation analysis, finally, through the test of its stress performance, by contrast, mechanical performance is superior to the steel tubular scaffolding with couplers.In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this paper adopts a variety of research methods. First of all, the use of CAD to design the new type self-locking card slot node and its member system, Then, the simulation analysis of the mechanical properties by using ANSYS and ABAQUS analysis software, and the mechanical properties were determined by testing node. On this basis, through the case analysis, comparison of mechanical performance between the steel tubular scaffolding with couplers and the steel tubular scaffold with self-locking card slot. Finally, using Solidworks2010 to optimize the design of the card slot node.The research results show that, the steel tubular scaffold with self-locking card slot overcomes the disadvantages of steel tubular scaffolding with couplers, almost no slippage, torsion, not only the loading capacity of the joint is improved, and the construction is influenced by human factors are small. So efficiency gets rising apparently. Because the card slot self-locking steel pipe scaffold fundamentally solve the node slip and torsion problem, therefore, has the broad application prospect.This research not only puts forward ideas for the innovative design of the new scaffolding node, but also makes innovations for its test method, which lays the foundation for the next product development, improvement and application in engineering.The new type of steel tubular scaffold with self-locking card slot can solve the problem of the slip and torsion of the joints in the pipe scaffold, and its application prospect is bright.
