Transformer is an important part of power system, the stability and the reliability of transformer directly related to the stability and the reliability of power system. And the compaction degree of the transformer body decides to withstand short-circuit force of transformer under short-circuit conditions capacity. Therefore research on improvement of pressing the transformer body pressing structure and the body process, not only help to improve the transformer production efficiency, but also has an important role in the safety and economy of the whole power grid.The axial force of transformer under short-circuit conditions is made an in-depth analysis and study. At the same time on axial preload selection principle and calculation method are discussed. Combining the compactor body process widely used in domestic, company’s existing body pressing structure, pressing process and problems of device body pressing are analyzed and improved. In terms of body pressing structure, the original by the pressure nail type pressing structure are improved into the support plate and an insulation cushion block form, and the number of pressing position and pressing point, compaction related materials and accessories are all improved; in the compactor body process, aiming at the problem of compact enough between the end face and the plate with the iron yoke, the original type tracheal auxiliary pressing process of mode checking mode, gas compression mode and pressing system of hydraulic pressure are put forward. By means of contrast tests for data collection and statistics of the pressing process of the improved, so as to determine the validity and practicability of the improved process.The research results of this paper have been applied to the manufacturing practice of transformer, and verified its effect is remarkable.
