Based on the waterfront landscape under the background of rapid development, China’s waterfront landscape design are increasingly become the focus of city construction.But everything has its two sides, in the rapid development at the same time will inevitably bring about negative effects. The function of a single, identical in form, the lack of landscape connotation phenomenon has become increasingly prominent, in the face of this situation, this paper puts forward the design of waterfront landscape of regional background has practical significance.Based on the research, this article from the background region of the Yanghe River County in Funing as an example to explore the landscape, waterfront design regional background,summarized as follows:(1)the theoretical part of waterfront landscape design under the background of regional research significance, research methods, research contents and research methods. Combination of funing local characteristics, pay attention to the expression of local characteristics, make with characteristic of Fu Ning waterfront landscape zone.(4)through to the regional background of waterfront landscape design research,puts forward the regional background of waterfront landscape orientation, and the relationship between regional culture, design form and waterfront landscape zone of ecological corridor positioning summary views are put forward.(5)this paper combines the theory and case analysis and practice, in the waterfront landscape planning and design, based on the basic requirement of safety,hydrophilic, clear its function positioning, from several aspects including the orientation of function, ecology, and the relationship between positioning and so on,puts forward the optimal design method, design should respect, respect for nature,respect the regional cultural arena, to create harmony between man and nature of the waterfront landscape.
