Switched reluctance motor(SR motor) and its drive system can meet wide speed and all-quadrant operation demands, have good mechanical properties and strong fault tolerance. However, the larger torque ripple is an inherent flaw of SR motor, which restricts its development. A single phase SR motor was designed which has relatively simple control and higher cost-effective in the paper, and achieve control requirements of low torque ripple from structure and control parameters by two ways.Firstly, make an overview of research status of various phase SR Motor and different structures single-phase SR motors. A single-phase 4/2 pole SR motor of 900 W and 16200r/min which adding the permanent magnet to start was designed, make a simulation of static electromagnetic properties and dynamic performance, verify the correctness of the design. In view of the close ties of radial force and torque ripple, a new method of radial force calculation based on Maxwell tensor of single-phase SR motor is raised, the simulation results accurately describes the radial force characteristics of a single-phase SR motor. At the moment, for the purpose of reduce torque ripple, reduce radial force amplitude from the stator pole arc and the core length, the optimized structure size of a single-phase SR motor are achieved.Then take advantage of magnetization curve and torque angle curve, three kinds of nonlinear ontology model of inductance method, flux method, current method are established in Simulink based on the two dimensional look-up table, and verify the correctness and accuracy of the current method. Further suppress torque ripple, the control system is found by sliding mode variable structure direct torque control strategy based on mathematical model of SR motor and variable structure control theory. Compared to PID control, verify that the control strategy has better inhibition of torque ripple by simulation in Matlab/Simulink. |
