Design For The Elevator Monitoring System In Intelligence Residential District

Nowadays, the increase of high-rise residence of slabs makes wider demand of elevator. As a result, the attention of the users and the producers has been highly raised towards the safety of elevators running, thus the study of elevator monitoring system takes a significant place to engineering technicians.The thesis attempts to seek a way to ensure the safe running of elevators which is a important part of intelligence residential management. It presents the way that is based on the wireless communication module, collecting the real- time data and information and then transferring them to the monitoring center by wireless communication techniques. After analysis, the center will find out the problems and faults and inform the related technicians. The elevator monitoring system consists of three parts that are Data Integrated Terminal,Wireless Communication Module and Monitoring Center.Data Integrated Terminal is controlled by a single chip microcomputer and transfer the integrated data to the Wireless Communication Module, which is in charge of receiving and sending the data, and meanwhile the Elevator Monitoring Center collects the data via the Wireless Communication Module. The Whole Monitoring System runs under the “one major and many followers” mode. The Monitoring Center checks the status of elevators(on/off/error) and analyzes the real-time data and information, which is displayed by the screen shown to the users. The monitoring system functions in the way mentioned above.The thesis is composed of 6 chapters as following. It introduces the present study of elevator monitoring system and compares the operating principles and realizing method of the major monitoring systems used currently. Base on the analysis, it introduces a general design proposal of the elevator monitoring system especially for the intelligence residential district, including the hardware design(Data Integrated Terminal,Wireless Communication Module) and software design(Data Integrated Terminal, Monitoring Center). In addition, the thesis introduces the testing part of the monitoring system. In the last part, it extends prospects of the industry as a conclusion.
