Smart home has gone through a period of development from initial concept emergence to now, but due to various reasons, it has not been famous in lots of ordinary families, which is in a relatively awkward situation. However, as the popularity of smart mobile phones, sharply falling of wireless chip prices and the strengthening of the network infrastructures in recent years, intelligent hardwares with high performance and low cost are emerging, smart home begins to develop rapidly. But the field of smart home is in the situation whitch has no the industry standard, meanwhile, requirements of smart home are different as different countries and different groups, therefore, author tries to design and implement a suitable smart home control platform whose taget users are urban common families to improve quality of uers’ home life.(1) Studying the structures and characteristics of smart home system deeply, CSH control platform is put forward in this paper, whose basic components are composed by family controllers, one server and hand-held control ends; The extended parts of control platform are composed by one smart socket and other terminal equipment interfaces.(2) The home controller is designed based on Freescalse MK60 chip and MQX real-time embedded operating system. As being the core device of CSH control platform, the controller need to not only implement corresponding communicating tasks, but also manage terminal devices in houses by the in-built intelligent controlling tasks.(3) TF control algorithm is proposed to meet the specific requirements of intelligence for smart home, which is the internal controlling algorithm of controllers’ intelligent task. Firstly, the expression model is built, and then the algorithm principle is shown, finally the practicality of the algorithm is verified by testing.(4) In order to realize the remote control and manage house terminal devices digitally, one server and one handheld-end program based on Android are designed. One hand-held end is connected to the server with TCP client identity, so does one controller, ultimately, the remote control function and the digital management are realized in bridging of the server.To test the performance of smart home control platform, one terminal equipment, which is intelligent socket, is designed and implemented. If the socket is equipmented with home appliances, we can control the corresponding home appliances remotely and intelligently. Tests and practices have proved that the smart home control platform, which is proposed in this paper, can greatly improve the quality of family life and contribute to energy saving, also has well reference values and promotion prospects.
