This article focuses on the subject of corroded steel bar and reinforced concrete members,discussing the regularity and influence of the reinforcement corrosion damage on its frequency,and studying the feasibility and methods of the corrosion damage in reinforced concrete components by frequency test.This paper is based on the review of structural modal convention test method, through the measurement of its intrinsic frequencies of simply supported beam model, comparing and analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of conventional frequency measurement method such as environmental vibration test and hammer vibration test, then music excitation method is put forward and applied to the structural frequency testing.Music excitation method is successfully used to test the intrinsic frequency of reinforced concrete structures and the analysis of the position and the degree of the damage of simply supported steel;Analysis the relationship between the simply supported structure’s natural frequency and its damage location,damage degree and corroded reinforced space distribution;Studying the effect of the position of sensors on the test results and frequency characteristics.The results are as follows:1.Music excitation is a kind of prospective excitation method. Compared with the environment vibration method, its test efficiency can be increased by more than one order of magnitude and compared with hammering vibration excitation method, non-contact and non-destructive testing excitation can be achieved. Because of the large amount of frequency measurement information, the frequency information of Fourth Order of the structure object can be quickly obtained;2.Spatial distribution of damaged steel and its natural frequency is relevant and has certain regulation;3.Abundant of frequency information can be got by the sensor that pasting on a corroded reinforced steel, and using frequency to identity corrosion morphology of steel inconcrete members has practical feasibility.
