With the rapid development of economy, China’s energy consumption as well as the degree of dependence on foreign energy is becoming more and more higher, so it is urgent to carry out energy conservation. Social total energy consumption by more than a third of building energy consumption is becoming increasingly the focus of attention. After 30 years of development, china’s energy level has been greatly increased, but with the developed countries still have larger gap.Hot summer and cold winter area is densely populated and economically developed in our country and climate conditions of the worst areas. Anhui province is located in the area, and thus inherited the summer heat and winter cold, summer and winter two seasons long duration, large air humidity throughout the year.The region does not belong to central heating area, in summer outdoor the highest temperatureabove 35 ℃, on the distribution of building energy consumption, energy consumption of heating is dominant, but the summer air conditioning refrigeration energy consumption is still far higher than the north cold areas. How to solve the region of hot summer and cold winter give attention to two or more things at the same time is before the area design personnel more difficult problem.Reference Germany passive technique is proposed in this paper to solve the regional "hot summer" and "cold winter". In the reading of vast amount of literature on the basis of summary about passive construction research and practice achievements both at home and abroad, and draw lessons from its experience. In Anhui province based on the analysis of the climatic conditions, using Ecotect software to analyze the effects of different passive design strategies of the area, choose the focus. Based on this, advances in the areas in Anhui province using four passive design strategies, namely the architectural form design and maintenance of structure to improve the performance of thermal and renewable energy utilization, natural ventilation and natural lighting. For each strategy in detail analysis and appropriate measures are put forward. At the same time for the architect of the most commonly used building orientation, window wall ratio and thermal performance of retaining structure and so on three factors using Ecotect software respectively made a quantitative analysis, to find focus architects in the passive building design.This article also use the demonstration project for the passive architectural design practice, based on the full understanding of the climate, put forward to the suitable using passive strategy in demonstration projects. On the basis of the complete design, using PKPM, PHEONICS, Ecotect software for building energy saving effect, the effect of natural ventilation, natural lighting and the heating effect of passive room, simulated and analyzed to verify the feasibility of passive design strategies.
