The Research Of Commercial Aircraft Cockpit Control Panel Based On The Quite-Darkcockpit

Cockpit control panel is an important part of commercial aircraft human interface. Reasonable cockpit control panel layout and scientific cockpit light environment design is an effective approach to prevent human error. The purpose of this paper is to give the criteria and parameters for the design of cockpit control panel.This paper gives a new concept of Quite-Dark Cockpit after the in-depth study of the different cockpits and related documents, aimed at reducing human errors and improving flight safety. And this paper gives a firstly analysis about the application of whit light in the Quite-Dark Cockpit, resolving the visual fatigue in the long distant flight of the commercial aircraft cockpit.After the research of cockpit glare in the flight test, this paper gives a design guide for the illuminated panel through the cockpit visual ergonomics test and PWM dimming control test at the absence of relevant standards, which can be a design standard in the next aircraft.Because of the more parameters and confused environment in the cockpit, this paper creates a general optical test platform for the study of commercial aircraft cockpit, after researching the main variables in the cockpit and extracting the key factors of visual ergonomics test.Finally, this paper gives a validation for the PBA design parameters through the visual ergonomics test.
