Modern wars come in varied forms, and thus combat command and control system is becoming more and more complex. Compared with the previous combat systems, the scale and structure of current ones are becoming bigger and more complex. In recent years, integration command platform, whose core is the integration of the command and control networks, is emphasized in our army. Since the command and control system has the characteristics of complex network, we usually choose to attack the command and control network first in order to destroy the enemy command and control system. Therefore, the invulnerability ability research of command and control system could be used to improve the military command network self-protection and self-repair ability. Taking the advantage of the characteristics of complex network, we should do as much as possible to avoid losing the node link and network failure to enable the command and control system to work properly.Firstly, this paper briefly expounds the definition and main characteristics of the command and control system, the development and research status of the system and the main technology and challenges. The research background and significance are proposed, and also the current domestic and foreign research status in the field of command and control system is summarized, especially, the history and trend of the command and control system in the American army are introduced.Secondly, the application of the complex network in military is given and the statistic characteristics of the complex network, several special complex networks and the research progress of complex network in military are highlighted. According to the characteristics of military command and control system, the similarity between the complex network and control system is found out, and meanwhile the feasibility of which we can follow the way to research the complex network to analyze the military command and control system is figured out.Thirdly, this paper analyzed the reliability of the system, introduced the theory of the invulnerability and summed up the characteristics of invulnerability in the commandand control system. And also the command and control system optimization measures are listed and a method to enhance invulnerability of command and control system is put forward. Through the establishment of a 7 level of corps level command and control system simulation model, we put forward the concept of node defense factor. According to the analysis of the network of corps level command system and the needs of the experiment, we attacked the corps level command and control network system and did the simulation experiment in three different ways, which are random attack, intelligent random attack and intelligent random upward attack.Fourthly, by comparing and analyzing the results of three kinds of attacks and without considering the corps level command and control system, we got the key of the corps level invulnerability, that is, command and control network nodes defensive factors need to be improved. In the process of actual combat, it could improve the protection of important command and control network nodes and resilience, improve the protection of important goal, strengthen the security of important and strategic target and improve the ability of self-recover of military command and control system.The factor is also an important measure which is based on the combat capability of information systems and a significant way of winning information wars.
