Wireless power transfer(WPT) technology has been used in the mobile electric vehicles, mobile wireless charging, artificial organ transplants and other fields widely with a rapid development. Traditional the series/ series type(S/S) is not good enough for stability with high sensitivity when the load changes. the characteristics study of serial / parallel type(S /P) WPT system is relatively little currently. It is confined to the transmission model structures and theoretical analysis with the lack of an overall analysis and practicality. The traditional study does not take full advantage of the resonance point to achieve zero-voltage and zero current soft switch(ZVZCS) with only a few watts power. The transmission efficiency needs to be improved. This paper researching on high-power S/P magnetic resonance WPT system against for the existing problems has a practical significance.The paper carries out a detailed analysis on the transmission model of S/P type WPT system for the power transmission power and higher transmission efficiency. The paper also compares the S/P type with S/S type system for the performance and studies the transfer characteristics of S/P type WPT system. It deduces the transmission power and the maximum efficiency for the advantages of S/P type WPT system according to circuit theory. The magnetically coupled resonant zero current switching(ZCS) full-bridge DC / DC converter is applied to S/P type WPT system for the issue of switch losses with the aim to reduce transmission losses and improve transmission efficiency. To achieve ZCS, the transmitter operating mode of the inverter is analyzed in detail. The lock-in technique makes sure the resonance frequency of the received is always the same as the transmitter or switching frequency of the inverter circuit. The control circuit is a digital system based on TMS320F2407 DSP core chip combining hardware and software to track the frequency of inverter. In order to regulate power, the power control circuit changes the driving signal of Buck circuit to change the amplitude of the DC voltage.Pspice is used to get simulation waveform for each part of S/P WPT style system. Experimental results are given by building a system experiment prototype.
