As a kind of new information acquisition and processing mode, the emergence of wireless video sensor networks for moving target coverage provides a new solution. Various aspects’ increasing like deployment convenience, tracking accuracy, reliability and extendibility shows tremendous advantages in monitoring, security and other fields. For the rural small hydropower belongs to high-risk areas, insufficient safety regulation for human invasion, higher requirement for cover quality is put forward. Referring to the existing research results, the majority of the target coverage problem is focus on static target, and the perception and rotational latency what video sensor itself has increases the difficulty of research on real-time coverage for this problem. So researching the control strategy for the moving targets in the wireless video sensor networks plays a vital role in improving the whole video sensor network’s monitoring performance, guaranteeing the safety of the small hydropower station.This thesis studies the issues about the perception model of the wireless video sensor networks, coverage quality evaluation index and moving target with K level coverage. Starting from the existing problems, this thesis completely states the problem definition, the mathematical model, the algorithm proposed and the simulation experiments, then applying the research develops a wireless video sensor network simulation platform for small hydropower stations.The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1.For video sensor nodes based on perception model, this thesis using the Boolean model and overlap model, optimizes the original orientation perception model to be rotatable perception model, laying a theoretical basis for the study of wireless video sensor network coverage control algorithm.2.For coverage quality evaluation index for moving target with K level coverage problem is not comprehensive, this thesis optimizes the existing cover quality evaluation index, according to the actual monitoring needs. It is more advantageous to compare the performance among moving target with K level coverage algorithms.3.For single moving target with K level coverage problem in wireless video sensor networks, according to the mathematical modeling established, this thesis uses the method of linear prediction target trajectory point of the next moment, then the distributed prediction-based greedy K level coverage algorithm is proposed, a series of simulation experiments show that this algorithm obviously improves the quality of the moving target coverage.4.For multiple moving targets with K level coverage problem in wireless video sensor networks, this thesis improves the limitation of the linear prediction method, designs a mathematical model to evaluate target coverage effect approximately, then proposes a multipath cover dynamic optimization algorithm, the algorithm improves the probability of moving targets reaching K level coverageFinally, for the small hydropower stations have some security threats, such as human invasion, incomplete precautionary measures, this thesis combines with the actual situation of small hydropower stations, develops a small hydropower plant simulation platform by applying the above research results, through testing, the platform has practicability and good extensibility.
