A more and more restricted role is played obviously by the development of transportation in the development of economy; the development of transportation is an essential condition for the city development and construction. the ideal state of Urban traffic is a unified and harmonious web, in this web there is a lot of critical points and lines, the current urban traffic collect more and more traffic modes, the link and contact of all those traffic modes gradually get more attention, transfer hub is the critical point to contact each line and is also one of the core problems of urban traffic.Railway passenger transportation is the long-distance passenger traffic mode with the largest volume, the longest history, most passenger choice; Urban rail transit is gradually constructing in the city in recent years as a city passenger transportation form which possesses the advantages such as low rate, high speed, punctuality rate and so on. Both of the two different forms of transport are based on the construction of the track, they all have good adaptability in interchange. They are the connect of not only indoor and outdoor traffic, but also long-distance and short-distance. It is also necessary to consider the matching of transport capacity and the arrangements of operational organization scheme, configuration planning of internal transfer facilities should also be taken into consideration.This paper, on the basis of summarizing the research results at inland and abroad, firstly introduces the basic theory of railway passenger transfer and urban rail transit, discusses the important factors of transfer, introduces the passenger flow forecast the share rate method which is using Logit model, constructs the capacity matching model and time reliability model, according to the different compatibility and reliability the operation scheme are proposed; illustrate the walking characteristics of passenger in the transfer hub, introduces the walking time and speed function under the certain traffic volume, analyze the facilities in the hub combined with the walking characteristics of the passengers, using vissm micro simulation software to proof the facilities in the hub.Finally, takes transfer station of Lanzhou west railway station and Lanzhou Rail transit line 1 as an example, predict the share rate of arriving passenger flow of west railway station for different modes of transport, according to the forecast passenger flow volume calculate the different capacity matching degree based on different departure interval and marshalling number, calculate the change of the capacity matching degree when load factor changes, offer a proposal for the subway operation plan and the transfer of two transportation methods,involved the minimum departure intervals and marshalling number of the train in travel peak period, etc; using the simulation results of microscopic simulation soft to put forward the allocation plan for the channel, stair, and ticket gate in west railway transfer station. Putsforward problems need further research and improvement, achieved the combination of theory with practice, made certain reference value for transfer hub in later research.
