With a mass population,demand of energy is also increasing. Therefore, in the current development and utilization of new energy sources and improving energy efficiency can not be achieved under the breakthrough in the short term, the energy-Saving is particularly important. In all of the current national economic departments, the railway transport sector is one of the largest energy-consuming sectors. According to incomplete statistics, in the whole rail transport energy consumption, the energy consumed by the locomotive can account for about 65%-75% of the total rail transport energy consumption,and among its high load,transport distance, running lines and complex characteristics of the entire locomotive energy consumption also account for a large proportion. Therefore, the problem of energy-Saving freight train development for our country have a very deep meaning.In this paper, a unified model for freight trains DF4 B type, and the train in research in a variety of operating conditions during the force, combined with the relevant traction calculation and energy calculation methods, the use of intelligent heuristic algorithm to calculate the energy-Saving freight trains operated control strategy and its optimization.
