Tongli Town Historic Buildings Research And Conservation Strategies

A large number of historical buildings from the Ming and qing dynasty to the period of the republic of China is the main part of the material elements of Tongli town. It Plays a vital role to the overall environmental features and functional structure of the ancient town. But due to it was left in disrepair and didn’t used in a reasonable way, its vitality is gradually decline. In order to further understand the status of the historic buildings of tongli and take targeted measures to protect it, I has conducted research on this subject.Thesis select six representative typical historical architecture for further research, as Xizhaibieye, Tongzhiyamen, Lishantang, Yanwenbingzhai, Shigutang and Yuanjiating, which are in the three bridge historical and cultural blocks. I carried out the research form four aspects, the quality and features of the historic buildings, residents living environment, situation of reuse and blocks overall environment. In addition, I conducted a questionnaire survey of residents and tourists to comprehensively understand the present situation of the historic buildings in Tongli town. According to the content of the research, I analyzed and evaluated the four aspects above to sum up the problems of historic buildings in these aspects.Through the above work, I analyzed and summarized protection policy and management issues of the historic buildings in Tongli town. Finally, I put forward specific protection strategy, and to explore its protected mode.
