Research On The Application Of Historic District Protection And Renovation In Small And Medium-sized City Based On GIS

With economic development, population growth, urbanization process, historic district and the surrounding environment is being more and more damage, update and planning of the protection of historical buildings and blocks, even in the whole history of the city into the hot issue in today’s social development. In view of the rapid development of the city and the complexity of the process of historical and cultural heritage protection is facing, not deterministic and dynamic nature of the problem, application of GIS technology in the protection planning of historical and cultural blocks, formed based on GIS technology in the historical and cultural blocks protection planning method and improve the protection of historical and cultural blocks planning of science and technology, make the protection planning has strong operation and implementation.Firstly, through investigation on present situation of the historic district study, carries on the analysis to the problems existing in the present historical district conservation and renewal, the GIS technology in the historical block protection and the renewal planning. Secondly, the paper introduces the basic concepts of architectural history and way and use of the principle of conservation; introduces the concept of the historical block, elaborates the characteristics of the historic district, the delineation of the scope of and in the protection and renewal of the content; introduces the related theories of GIS technology, the basic skills and development situation and application practice in the field of urban planning in China, for subsequent chapters of GIS technology in the historical block protection and renewal and planning to provide theoretical basis. Thirdly, through investigation and analysis of the district status of the research area, summarized the characteristics of the block, analysis of the existing problems and the protection value of the blocks. The comprehensive evaluation system of building values of buildings is evaluated by using the method of AHP and multi factor analysis. Provide quantitative and objective reference for the following update and plan. Finally, according to the results of comprehensive evaluation of block building value proposed the strategy of protection and renovation of the building of the block, based on the design principle of traditional planning, from land planning, transportation system, environmental landscape, cultural tourism and building height five aspects of the entirehistoric block to protect and update planning and design.
