In the process of automobile body design, door design influences on driving safety, convenience, side visual field and other performance requirements. The main section of automobile door is important to the door design, nowadays how to design the automobile door quickly, efficiently and intelligently, and to shorten design period are key points in the research of automobile design methodology.Therefore, to develop a professional and intelligent system for design of automobile door is pracyica lly significant.At present, the design foundation of industrial products is the development of product design system based on knowledge driven, so it had set forth on knowledge acquisition, knowledge denotation and knowledge management and so on artificial intelligigence throry, which carry on the research analysis of the method of main section of the door and in-depth study of the test system based on knowledge.This paper concerned on the main section of the door, study the basic thery and key technology of KBE, collected the section design knowledge and standards form enterprises to summary experience of main section design, layout method on the knowledge-based engineeringIn this paper, based on the UG6.0 software research on parameter driven modeling technology and UG/Open to develop the main section of the door of parametric design, establish feature library and provide a guarantee for the realization of variable structure door section of the variable parameter. Through the use of KF language, compiling the parametric into DFA file to achieve the parametric design of the door section; the compiling of ODBC database rules achieve reading and writing database the data, so as to realize the knowledge rules call.Finally, by verifying the main section design of test system based on knowledge as an example, to prove the reliability and practicality of the system.
