With the technological progress and economic development,high-rise structures increasingly popular, there is more and more of its material type, structure began to diversify.There is a significant difference among force features of a variety of structures,to resist seismic horizontal load capacity,inter-layer lateral acceleration, speed and performance isolation and so on. High-rise buildings in large part to save the dwindling land area, and more efficient use of building space,but with the higher the altitude,more overrun structures are formed. For overrun structures subject to seismic analysis at this stage of the technical level,it is difficult to define the structure of the degree of reliability. The use of appropriate performance-based seismic design method to determine a reasonable seismic performance objectives, overrun structural analysis to arrive at a quantitative analysis of the results,and then targeted to take measures to strengthen to resist the earthquake,it’s the main content of the thesis.This paper reviews the development situation of domestic and foreign high-rise buildings,the state of structural seismic design,the source of seismic design issues as well as Performance-based seismic design,determine the seismic performance objectives of the project.This paper describes the seismic analysis based on performance of project overview,and the discrimination of this project overrun. In this paper,there is analysis of the works of frequent earthquake elastic seismic design,and the effect of the elastic process on the engineering project. Modifing the SATWE program calculation parameters to analyze the effect of medium earthquake. The works analyze static elastic – plasticr at the last. To determine the structural’s performance under frequent earthquake,medium earthquake and rare earthquake through the above analysis,that is, the goal is to keep project not bad in effect of frequent earthquake,it can repair under the medium earthquake,and did not fall under the influence of rare earthquake.
