In recent years,Frequent earthquakes resulted in many casualties and hugeeconomic losses,However,since humans can not completely prevent people from theoccurrences of the earthquake disasters,People can only predict disaster and makecasualties and economic losses as minimized as possible. On the basis of these losses.itpromote the developments of seismic of design theory. In order to improve the accuracyof earthquake’s prediction. People analyze the RC structures from elastic stages up tothe elastic-plastic stages on Earthquake.Therefore, Designers are looking for a simple,fast and accurate prediction of Earthquake’s situations based on the elastic-plasticanalysis. It can correctly analyze seismic performance by this way. For this reason thatelastic-plastic method of Pushover and Dynamics are coming into being. Staticelastic-plastic method puts an emphasis on Pushover analysis on the RC structures,whileDynamic elastic-plastic analysis is mainly taking fully use of Dynamic-Time-historyanalysis.This article using different methods,first of all,briefly analyzed the seven layer ofconcrete frame structure on the elastic stage.such as modal analysis, the bottom shearmethod, response spectrum method. The structure design requirements to meet the coderequirements.Then this paper focuses on analyzed the seven layer of concrete frame structure ofon the elastic-plastic stage in the frequent and rare condition. which is using methodssuch as static pushover and Dynamic time history analysis.Finally, the advantages anddisadvantages of the two methods were compared and summarized.By these twomethods we can analyze and compare it between advantages and disadvantages on thefollowing article:The advantages of Pushover analysis is a fast and simple way to understand theorder in which the structure of the plastic hinges the emergence and are destroyed,and itcan quickly find the weak links in the seismic designs. to meet requirements of theseismic code and evaluate of seismic performance of RC.structures.Thus, it has aextremely promising prospects in practical engineering applications. However,Pushover method itself has some theoretical assumptions and theoretical flaws,Forexample,the basic theory is not strict.and this method make approximate analysis onlybased on the first mode in low-rise buildings.A shortcoming of Pushover analysis is thatassess of the accuracy is not enough in high-rise buildings.because it needs to considerits impact on higher modes,.However this is a defect of Pushover analysis. Dynamic elastic-plastic analysis is the most accurate analysis of seismicperformance. It is suitable for all kinds of building structures.But its drawback havemany aspects, for example:the project need to a access of a lot of information, toomuch time to calculate and select properly seismic waves, which are veryimportant.Last but not least,designers themselves have a solid theoretical foundation. Atpresent using this method subject to certain restrictions.
