At present, China’s mechanical and electrical products are mainly packaged with wood packaging. However, wood packaging is now facing with the green trade barriers and issues such as increasing cost of packaging. At the same time, wooden packaging is a large consumption of C hina’s forest resources, causing great damage to the environment which does not meet the requirements of green low carbon era of packaging.Therefore,there is an urgent need to find green packaging alternative for wood packaging of mechanical and electrical products.Honeycomb cardboard and corrugated cardboard paper are the environmental friendly material and have the advantages of light weight, high strength, good buffering performance and many other advantages, which can be used as a substitute material for wood packing. Selecting the typical elevator products--Panel of elevator car as the packaging object, using the honeycomb- corrugated composite cardboard as the packaging materials, studying the key technologies of paper packaging substituted for wooden packaging for elevator products in order to put forward a complete and system paper packaging solution.At last, verifying and analyzing the heavy paper packaging solution through the ANSYS Workbench.(1)At first, compositing different corrugated board with the honeycomb paperboard and testing the strength performance and properties of these different types of corrugated-honeycomb composite board to determination the final composite form of corrugatedhoneycomb composite board with the best comprehensive strength properties.(2) Based on the theoretical study on in-plane compressive strength performance of honeycomb paperboard,studying the in-plane compressive strength performance of corrugated- honeycomb composite cardboard in theory and establishing the prediction model providing the theory basic for the composite board.(3) Testing the in-plane compressive strength performance of honeycomb paperboard and the corresponding composite board with different thickness, facial and core paper, in order to obtain the deformation rule and characteristic of corrugated-honeycomb composite cardboard as well as the three parameters’ s(thickness, facial and core material) influence on the strength performance respectively.In addition, verifing the applicability of the model for in-plane compressive strength of composite cardboard.(4) Based on the research of elevator products, selecting the typical elevator products: car panel as the concrete packaging object. According to the structure characteristics of car panel, including the vulnerability, fragility, packaging technology logistics environment and other factors combined with the corrugated-honeycomb composite board performa nce and structural characteristics, designing the package structure and process scheme. Base d on the determined structure, deciding the concrete packaging materials and packaging cost to provide the reference and basis for the practical application for packaging.(5) Using the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, launched the heavy paper packaging solutions of static load stacking, random vibration analysis and drop simulation to verify the "paper wood" packaging structure design whether is reasonable and practical.
