With the rapid development of social economy, the level of people’s income is increased substantially, and the pace of people’s life is accelerated increasingly, so the number of cars is increased rapidly in cities.But the growth of transport infrastructure is lagged behind. The contradiction between the growth of transport infrastructure and the number of cars will be more prominent with the passage of time and will case the rate of traffic accident growth. So people can’t depend on the traditional method for solving the traffic problems and must combine ITS which is the modern intelligent transportation system to solve this problem. And parking space detection system is the source of ITS data.A wireless parking Spaces based on the anisotropic magnetoresistance sensor detector is designed in this paper, and discussing the principle of detecting the parking space which is using magnetic resistance sensor and the communication between the detector and the gateway which is using Zig Bee wireless network technology. The paper has validated the system stability and low power consumption, realized the function of the parking detector module and completed data acquisition, processing and transmission. The idiographic work is as follows:(1)For the analysis and comparison of current detection methods in current market, a wireless parking detector based on the anisotropic magnetoresistance sensor is proposed, and the current research based on the anisotropic magnetoresistance vehicle detection is introduced.(2)Designing a hardware circuit by using microcontrollers CC2530 and magnetic resistance sensor HMC5883 L, and explaining the calculation parameters of each hardware module.(3)According to the collected data analysis of the parking space magnetic resistance sensor when the vehicle is in and out, a parking space detection algorithm according to the changed rate of modulus is proposed.(4)The design of the embedded software based on each function of the system implements the design of corresponding application modules and gives corresponding program flow charts.This parking space detection system has initially achieved all functions, but there is a big gap before it is really put on the market, and there are still many parts can be improved. So the system is needed to be searched and improved.
