The thesis expounds Chu culture symbol characteristics and the landscape style, street furniture, material application, and the design of greening of Wuhan pedestrian street, with the research of the landscape style of "Chu River and Han Street" and the foundation of Chu culture in the Spring and Autumn Period of ancient China.The paper focuses on the building facade.The paper analyzes the specific national spirit and civilization trait of Chu culture, based on the particular symbols—totem culture, musical culture and folk culture, integrating and refining the symbol of color, national spirit, mural elements, I get the most representative visual elements. The design finds the method of co-fusion between the commercial street landscape and regional culture. It creates the commercial street landscape with cultural taste and unique style to improve the overall image of the city and enhance the visual space quality and the sense of belonging of the citizen.The paper on practice discusses the building interface,memorial arch at the entrance, lamps and lanterns, leisure chairs, road pavement,material application,landscape design and so on.
