This will bring the negative influence to the city. So as to arouse people's attention and research of regional culture.In view of the existing problems in China's urban waterfront landscape design, we should focus on exploring how to inherit regional culture in urban waterfront landscape design. This as a starting point and focus, regional culture into the modern waterfront landscape design, to achieve the organic combination of historical culture and modern landscape, this thesis is to regional culture and urban waterfront landscape as the research object, through the use of literature review, on-the-spot investigation, induction summary and case analysis methods. First of all, the urban waterfront landscape and regional culture of the relevant concepts and content are described in this paper. The relationship between regional culture and urban waterfront landscape is analyzed, and the principles of urban waterfront landscape design based on regional culture are summarized. Study on the expression of regional culture in urban waterfront landscape. This paper discusses the methods and steps of the expression of regional culture in urban waterfront landscape design.
