With the rapid development of cities,the streetscape culture in a large number of cities gradually declines or even dies out,and the regional characteristics are also fading away.Due to the rapid development of modern cities and the rapid integration of eastern and western cultures,modern culture occupies a dominant position and traditional culture gradually declines.As a result,citizens' awareness of street landscape culture is gradually declining.Today's Hubei province is the center of chu culture.Chu culture is a distinctive culture in the spring and autumn period and the warring states period.Street landscape,as the first impression of a city,is very important.It is also an important part of urban space,bearing people's social activities,leisure activities and individual or group activities.Based on the analysis and study of excellent street landscape cases at home and abroad,this paper investigates and studies whether yanjiang avenue has the characteristics of chu culture and people's cognition of chu culture,so as to improve the construction of the street landscape of yanjiang avenue and promote the application and inheritance of chu culture in the street landscape.Street space is an important living place for residents.As a part of the open public environment of the city,it has social and cultural characteristics as well as natural attributes.The main content and purpose of this study is chu culture elements in the application of street landscape,let people grad ually realized the importance of the chu culture in the modern streets landscape,let people in the further understanding of the chu culture at the same time,raise awareness of the protection of chu culture and eventually create a special streets landscape space belong to the area of Hubei province.
