With the construction and development of society, the market of mine heavy dump truck has become increasingly intense, The requirements about mining properties and the ability to adapt for the heavy-duty dump trucks is increasingly high. Mine heavy dump truck that this paper studied not only often had a long-term operation in very bad road and at speed as high as possible, but also frequently encountered in turn, brake, overload and other complex conditions, often encountered the situation of instability when mine heavy dump truck turned, this process is very complex, so the research that complex nonlinear characteristics of these models shown in steering instability becomes particularly important to improve conditions for mining dump truck’s driving stability and improve economic efficiency.Firstly, the paper was started from the steering characteristics of the liner, monorail Triaxial heavy vehicles. And I studied it by deriving the stability factor and handling diagram. Under normal conditions that do not consider the nonlinear characteristics of the tire, the paper made a more comprehensive analysis of the car’s steering characteristics and steering stability.Secondly, in considering the tires of strong nonlinear characteristics under extreme conditions, This paper deeply analysis the complex behavior that dump truck steering instability. Through the establishment of the dynamic model including roll motion and the establishment of four-dimensional strongly nonlinear systems, the paper describe the heavy mining dump truck’s steering instability process under limit conditions. And by using the center manifold theory to solve nonlinear dimensionality reduction systems, the paper described the bifurcation behavior in the analytic form when the heavy mining dump truck steers instability. Then, on ADAMS platform, I created by ADAMS / Car modules studied mine heavy dump truck’s suspension systems, tire systems, power systems, and steering systems, and established the vehicle model. According to the parameters provided by the manufacturers I optimized the vehicle. Finally, in accordance with the existing vehicle handling and stability evaluation method, I did a series of vehicle handling and stability tests.
