Target object is automatically identified by radio frequency identification system, the data is acquired, the identify work of radio frequency identification is without human intervention. Fast and convenient operation of RFID, RFID specializes in multi-target recognition, moving object recognition, RFID is ideal for asset tracking and management in the process of railway cargo transport. And because TMIS system in the railway business has been building for many years, in railway, RFID information will be easier to transport 、 store and applications. Transport organization and optimization will be easier to implement, the dominant position of railway transport enterprises will be consolidated.In this paper, application version of RFID in railway freight transport was designed, from the scope of application of the RFID system in railway freight transport,from equipment selection and arrangement of RFID systems,from the application of RFID cargo information system,from the work of RFID system in railway freight transport.RFID should be applied to scattered cargo transport, cold chain transport of dangerous goods and food.RFID systems should choose to use UHF RFID systems.Huowei reader, forklift truck on-board reader, railway freight vehicle reader, take delivery of goods vehicle reader should be arranged in railway transportation.Every piece of goods that the information to be read by the RFID system will be installed the goods tag. The identification information will be written to the goods tag by the fa station, the goods tag will be installed by tuoyunren.Cargo information database(original database) and dynamic library(dynamic database) are respectively set in the TMIS of tieluzonggongsi,the TMIS of tieluju, the TMIS of station, database applications are developed respectively.Railway management departments control the transport of goods through management network by freight management information database and dynamic database, the owner can also access and query of goods information database and dynamic database of goods through external service network.About the process of the RFID system working in the railway goods transportation, this paper makes a detailed write from shouli, chengyun, jinghuo, zhuangche, zhongzhuan, xieche, jiaofu. and separately compiled perishable goods scattered cargo, dangerous goods, cold chain transportation work process.
