Flight test engineering is a high-risk, high investment field in aviation industry. in order to ensure the safety of flight test engineering, improve the efficiency of flight test engineering, Real-time monitoring the process of the related airbone’s systems should be necessary during the flight, then, Processing the flight test data becomes crucial in Real-time monitoring to ensure the security of Flight test engineering.The advanced regional aircraft ARJ21-700 is the first self-designed civil aircraft type by COMAC, and the workload of the airworthiness certification demonstration is huge, accompany with the short cycle, tens of thousands of parameters needed to be process ed. Compared to the military types, more flight test subjects are added and test accuracy requirements of some test subjects are higher. Therefore, The advanced regional aircraft ARJ21-700 flight testing needs a higher requirements for real-time data processing.At present, the basical principle of real-time data process is: first, the ground station receives telemetry RF signals from the aircraft;second, the ground station demodulate, analysis and processing the telemetry RF signals; third, displaying processed results, in digital, visual curve in real-time directly, such as the aircraft structural characteristics, engine performance and avionics systems and other information, for the flight test engineers and commanders. Due to bandwidth limitation of the telemetry signal transmission, the maximum of the telemetry data transmission rate can reach 3-4Mb/s, therefore, The number of parameters transmitted real-timely is about 4000, the processing capacity of the ground telemetry data processing system is also about 4000.So according to over 10,000 parameters, the current real-time data processing system on the ground does not meet the requirements of ARJ21-700 aircraft flight test. In addition, ARJ21-700 airbone equipped with network architecture data acquisition system, CFTE has applied onboard real-time data system to process PCM data, only a few hundred, in some large aircraft in the past, for massive airbone network data real-time processing technology, the research works is primary stage. In worldwide, the European Airbus A380 flight test attempted to use Ethernet technology, no relevant information.In this article, the author developed the airborne real-time data processing system, which is the first hybrid PCM and network distributed data acquisition system. Under the condition of mass parameters and high sampling rate, avoiding telemetry signal transmission bandwidth limitations, it can not only handle up to 6 KAM500 network streams and 1~2 PCM data streams, which contains 10,000 parameters, but also merge multi data streams, record, extract, convert, monitor, display, plot, playback the data, dump recorded data, output telemetry PCM data stream and many other features. According to real-time data processing and data analysis of the monitor screen, Flight test engineer onboard can verify the data to reduce the test cycle, improve efficiency, and ensure safety of flight testing.This system has been put into the ARJ21-700 aircraft airworthiness certification test and achieved good results.
