With the rapid development in electronics and information technology, the airborne avionics become more diversified and complicated. Therefore, in order to satisfy high-speed data processing system and a large amount real-time data transmission, the study of the airborne communications network system is extremely necessary. Airborne network is a dedicated communication network system to ensure the communication between the data processing center and the sensor nodes of the aircraft. During the flight, airborne systems under a variety of unpredictable factors, will inevitably be destroyed because of airborne equipment component failures and communication failures arising. That will be a threat to the pilots. In order to avoid the disastrous consequences, airborne network reliability problem has been one of the hot avionics systems research.Firstly, this paper presents redundancy configuration design base on the importance of network components on Fibre Channel airborne network. In this paper, the Fibre Channel protocol three topologies were analyzed. A Topology design scheme is presented in Fibre Channel network for airborne environment. As a representative of the high reliability requirements, airborne network usually requires a topology with fault tolerance, while the standard Fibre Channel protocol has no planning in this regard. Thus, this paper studies the redundancy technology of airborne systems, and presents redundancy configuration design base on the importance of network components.Airborne Network is a phased-mission system. The dynamic nature of the task configuration results in each stage will have different reliability analysis model. It also has a correlation between the various phases. Reliability analysis of phased-mission systems can effectively help system reliability. But the reliability analysis method in phased-mission system will be harder than it in separate systems. Thus, this paper studies the reliability analysis method of Bayesian networks. In the last decade the development of reliability analysis methods, Bayesian network technology is one of the most efficient models in uncertain event expression a. It breaks through the limitations of Fault tree analysis. While it’s way to describe the fault condition and logical reasoning has some similarities with fault tree, but it can express polymorphisms eventsand non-deterministic logic. It has great help to the reliability analysis of phased-mission system. Finally, we use the reliability analysis method of phased-mission system based on Bayesian network to analysis the airborne network system and component importance. In the course of study design requires full consideration of various factors affecting the reliability of the airborne network. Through analysis and component reliability importance analysis, it is possible to predict the important nodes which need to be strengthened. In order to correction the design scheme, we should do many experiments. The experimental results show that this method of reliability analysis for the advanced airborne network is very effective. The reasonable of the configuration design scheme above based on importance of components in airborne network is verified.
