The SIJIAO port which accommodates the MAJISHAN discharging terminal is facing the ocean on three sides. It has a wide water field, straight channel, lasting coastline and is embraced by islands around, which possess a priority to build a deep water port. There are two berths in MAJISHAN discharging terminal. No.1berth is456m in length and No.2is431m. Still now, these length can not reach the requirements of <Overall Design Code of Sea Ports>,for many new building vessel contained. But refer to some ports abroad, it can reach the safety parameter when reasonable lines laying and administration measures are arranged. In order to guarantee the safety berthing of gigantic vessel, this article is aimed at:Establishing a berthing coordinate to carry out a stress analysis for the200,000DWT and300,000DWT bulk vessel, that will get out the stress arising from mooring, squeezing and the bumping due to berthing and beaming for the assuming vessel which is affected by the complicated airflow and torrent when berth along the No.l and No.2berthsUpon the researching to the OPTIMOOR software, carrying out the safety berthing affecting factors analysis which is based on shipping factor, including ship tonnage, loading condition, line condition and line laying arrangement, and environmental factor, including wind, stream, wave and tide. And constructing the300,000DWT and200,000DWT combination, the300,000DWT and250,000DWT combination and the300,000DWT and300,000DWT combination berthing schemes on the base of the OPTIMOOR software. After considering the influencing factors from wind, stream and wave upon the No.l and No.2berth, carrying out a complicated risk assessment to the combination berthing scheme, this artical verifies the feasibility of the combination berthing at MAJISHAN No.1and No.2berths, concluding relevant safety advise and safeguarding measurements.
