Design And Realization Of The Strong Wind Monitoring And Prediction System For High-speed Railway

People pay more attention to the impact of strong cross-wind to the train after increasing the speeds of trains. In order to minimize the wind impact to the high-speed train, it is necessary to establish a perfect monitoring and forecasting system and make the running regulation and policy to guarantee the safety and efficiency of the train operation. Through deploying monitoring and forecasting system alongside the railway for timely wind data and transmitting the data to the control center, it is feasible to remind the driver to adjust the train velocity and minimize or curtail damage or loss. So it is greatly meaningful to design and establish a wind monitoring and forecasting system especially for the operation of the train.This thesis combines detailed requirement against high wind impact, stated whole solution to monitoring and forecasting system, interpreted systematic principle and plans, and designs the framework for the system. Additionally it analyses the current characteristics of high wind monitoring and forecasting system for high speed train at home and abroad. Firstly, it analyzes function needs for the information system in the designing stage; Secondly, it analyzes and briefs the techniques for monitoring and forecasting, including data flow, forecasting algorithm, seting alarm threshold value, etc. Through the design work for the infrastructure, data and program, the whole system is completed; Finally, the data processing performance is tested by comparison before and after system operation, and display system application, analyzes outcome of system construction, and proves that the wind monitoring&forecasting system plays an important role in anti-wind work for the high-speed railway.After the monitoring and forecasting system is constructed, the system provides reasonable velocity information for the running contract system, and greatly decreases the impact and damages to the high-speed train from high wind, and enhances the operation efficiency to the most extent.
