In order to ensure the safety of pantograph and catenary in strong wind environment,it is urgent to study the influence of different environmental factors on pantograph-catenary disconnection and the corresponding preventive measures. In this thesis, the field test and numerical simulation are combined to study the factors affecting pantograph-catenary disconnection of electric multiple unit in southern Xinjiang railway, and the corresponding preventive measures are proposed for the terrain with high disconnection rate, which provides important technical support and reference significance for improving the problem of pantograph-catenary disconnection in strong wind environment.(1)According to the field test, the field environment condition of high disconnection rate is obtained. The main forms of windproof facilities are cut retaining wall, earth embankment and pull wall, and the wind speed is concentrated in 30~50m/s.(2)The influence of environmental factors on aerodynamic performance of pantograph and catenary is revealed. The aerodynamic lift force of the pantograph is larger when the train is running with a motor car as the head. The aerodynamic performance of pantograph and catenary is better when the train is running in earth embankment, pull wall and 6m cut retaining wall than that in 9m and 12 m cut retaining walls. The combined action of downslope wind, earth embankment and pull wall will decrease the aerodynamic lift force of the pantograph.(3)The relationship between pantograph-catenary disconnection and environmental factors is proved.Pantograph-catenary disconnection mainly occur in the cut retaining wall. When the train runs in the terrain of9 m cut retaining wall with a slope of 1:1.5,the disconnection will occur when the wind speed is greater than 40m/s,and the disconnection rate reaches 25.55% when the wind speed reaches 50m/s;When the train runs in the terrain of 12 m cut retaining wall with a slope of 1:1.5,when the wind speed is greater than 40m/s,the disconnection will occur, and the disconnection rate reaches 61.33% when the wind speed reaches 50m/s;When running in the terrain of 9m cut retaining wall with slopes of 50°and 70°,the disconnection rates are 8.45% and 1.47% respectively when the wind speed reaches 50m/s.(4)Proposed and verified the prevention measures of disconnection of pantograph and catenary. In view of the windproof facilities with high disconnection occurrence, corresponding prevention schemes are put forward: adding a windshield with a height of 1m at 3.5m at the top of 9m cut retaining wall distance, the maximum disconnection rate is reduced from 25.55% to 4.44%.A windshield with a height of 1.5m is added at the top of 12 m cut retaining wall, with the train speed reduced to 100km/h,and the maximum disconnection rate is reduced from 61.33% to 4.69%.
