Along with the vigorous development of all kinds of national economic construction,various construction projects are increasing continually,and in practical engineering, thedesign of earthwork excavation is a problem that cannot be ignored, which is the key partof construction organization design, and its accuracy directly affects the control of projectcost and organizational issues. In addition, the project land requisition will be affected bythe dig and fill. Therefore, the earthwork is essential in the project engineering practice.Earthwork is one of main work of the civil engineering constructions, and the mainpurpose is to meet the design requirement of building plane position and elevation throughthe dig and fill. With the characteristic of large quantity, hard work and complicatedconstruction conditions, especially in the large-scale development and constructionprojects, the excavation is an inevitable work, and the earth-rock will be stored up to mine(abandoned slag field), then the quantity calculation of the earth-rock still a difficultproblem. How to measure quickly and relatively accurately on the residue field volume hasbeen a research problem in engineering field. There are many traditional methods of minecalculation, and the section method, grid method, scattered point method are commonlyused. The section method is mainly applicable to the mountain and the height difference ofrelatively large terrain, which also is the main method of earthwork calculation. Gridmethod is mainly used in the flat region and the gently rolling terrain. Scattered pointmethod is suitable for the terrain ups and downs, but the is more uniform, less complexterrain. These methods all have their applicable conditions and characteristics respectively,but the precision is not high. As the rapid development in digital information era, the basistheory of the photogrammetry, research, and scientific goal, is witnessing profoundchanges. It is moving in the digitization, network, intellectualization and visualizationstage in information acquisition, data processing and results of application. In this way, theimage information technology in the construction of hydropower project is also becomingmore and more important, and the close shot video technology is indispensable tohydropower project in the ground monitoring method, which is mainly used to solve technical challenges such as the water and electricity engineering field of rapid access toinformation, spatial information visualization analysis application and automaticprocessing of engineering information. With the continuous popularization of digitalcameras and the pace of digital construction speeding up, the current close shot digitalimage technology mainly focuses on the application of the ordinary digital imagingtechnology part of the research, and the research on single piece of photographytechnology and the application of image processing technology is imminent, which has avery important practical significance on perfecting country photogrammetry system andnational economic construction and development.For the measurement problem of large volume in the abandoned slag field, this articlediscusses the related problems, and has made relevant progress. It first define Earthwork,the category of earthwork computations, and discusses the research background, it analysisthe research status of the other calculating methods at home and abroad, and then the otherquantity calculation method of the traditional grid method, the calculation method ofsection method and method based on digital elevation model and non-contact volumecalculation method of3d laser scanning method, the method of synthetic aperture radarinterferometry, the close shot photogrammetry method and algorithms are discussed andsummarized. IT has carried on the detailed comparison and analysis from the calculationprinciples, scope, calculation steps and so on, summarized its defects in large constructionprojects, based on the characteristics of large slag in the abandoned field area, such as large,high altitude and limited visibility, put forward a volume monitoring method based onsingle chip photogrammetry technology. Its basic thought is based on digital camera usesILF plane grid method for camera calibration, and then using single rotary photographycamera shooting technology to abandon slag field in layered progressive, scanning andobtaining abandon slag field of digital image data, and correcting for each image datausing the method of direct linear transformation, and then corrected image for imagestitching, to obtained abandon slag field panoramic image. Respectively for verticalprojection transformation and side projection transformation of panoramic image, in orderto get the overlooking projection plan and side projection plan in abandon slag field. We can get the area and elevation difference of the top and bottom from projection floor plan.Finally, section method is used to measure the volume of abandon slag field and calculatedamount, to achieve the objective of Mine volume monitoring. With WudongdeHydropower Station construction project as the research background, the hydropowerstation in row middle pig arch abandon slag field as the research object, the technology ofsingle-chip measuring volume measurement method for the project, measure theabandoned slag amount in the pig arch abandon slag field.In addition, combined with video engineering geological logging, the articlesystematically studies the theory of digital image information processing method, solvingthe problem about the theory and method of the water and electricity engineeringapplications such as image control, the eyeball and projection transformation, target imagecorrection, image reconstruction, image space measurement, etc. Through the relevanttheories and methods, it realizes the volume measurement of large in the abandoned soilfield. At the same time, the quantity measurement accuracy of this method and imageprocessing in the possible difficulties or problems in engineering are analyzed andprospected, and it has been clear about the priority in the future study and research, whichhas great significance to promote the development of "digital China" strategy.
