Chop-controlled AC voltage converter is a kind of novel AC voltage converter which isstructured by all controlled type semiconductor switching component and Pulse-widthmodulation technology. It not only can solve the traditional electric power transforme’sproblem include large volume and big no-load losses and can not realize stepless regulation,but also can effectively avoid the thyristor phase-shift control AC voltage converter’ faultsinclude appeare a large number of low frequency harmonic, cause power grid pollution inprocess of using. At the same time, it has the advantages like easy controlled strategy and highresponse speed. Therefore, this type of AC voltage converter has a wide range of applicationsin high electric power quality-required field, has a very high research value.This paper regard Cuk AC/AC converter as research object, illuminates the workingprinciple and develop trendency of this type AC voltage converter. This paper has beenseparated into two parts, the method research and simulation experiment of Cuk AC/ACconverter was given in the first part. At first, this paper analyses the working principle ofsingle-phase Cuk AC/AC converter, and gives the parameter selection basis of all componentsin circuit. It also proposes a solution for the problem of two group switch during currentcommutating process, the accuracy of method research has been proved through thesimulation experiments. At second, it deduces the math module of three-phase Cuk AC/ACconverter which has a good voltage regulation performance. At last, in the third chapter of thispaper, proposes a closed loop strategy based on one-cycle control for single-phase system, thesystem has better dynamic and static performance.In the last part of this paper, experiment platform was built, design a principle module ofCuk AC/AC converter based on one-cycle control method, we can get the conclusion that thisconverter can realize stepless regulation and has the advantage of high working reliability, hasa good application prospect.
