Viscous damping wall is a new type of energy dissipation damping element, it isfirst proposed in1986by Japanese scholars. Viscous damping wall has flexiblearrangement, does not affect the normal use of buildings function, and can provide largedamping forces, damping effect is dramatic, etc. As Japan is a multi-earthquake country,Japan is the earliest country to research and apply for viscous damping walls, but inChina, it is just the start stage, there are a bit of works should be used. However, theconcrete filled steel tube frame structure is a new structure form, more and more beingused in building construction. Therefore, it is meaningful to research on high-riseconcrete filled steel tube frame structure in the damping control of viscous damping wall,as it can provide theoretical reference for future engineering practice.In this paper, the research objects were based on a15-storey concrete filled steeltube frame structure. It is mains to analyse and compare damping control of viscousdamping wall in the concrete filled steel tubular frame structure. In this model the maincontents are as follows:Firstly, it has determined the analysis mode of frame structure, it has done themodal analysis of the structure without using viscous damping wall, and achieved period,frequency and vibration modes of the structure, all of them met the requirements ofspecification. Secondly, in order to research the vibration control of the viscous dampingwall in high-rise concrete filled steel tube frame structure. In this paper on the basis ofmodal analysis, also set the viscous damping wall with different conditions, and used themethod of FNA in the software of Sap2000for damping analysis.After it joined viscous damping wall in the structure, firstly, it should do the viscousdamping wall structural vibration control research with different arranged numbers, anddifferent arranged locations, it is concluded that: under the number of differentarrangement, the damping effect increased with the number of viscous damping wall rise;To consider the different arranged positions, viscous damping walls average arranged inthe lower of structure can have significantly damping effect; Secondly, through the aboveanalysis to select the optimized conditions under the condition of different spectrumcharacteristics and damping parameters of damping control study. It concluded that:Viscous damping wall under different spectrum characteristics can have very gooddamping control effect. Viscous damping wall under different damping parametersrecommended scope is: damping exponent is0.7~1damping coefficientC wis 4104~6104kNĀ· s/m. In the range of viscous damping wall damping effect isremarkable.
