Viscous damping wall is a new kind of shock absorbing device energy consumptionfor building structure, able to provide large damping force for structure, to provide bettervibration control for structure, and the flexible layout position, does not affect the normaluse of buildings function, etc. By Japanese scholars Arima and Miyazaki proposed in1986,because Japan is a high incidence of earthquakes, so Japan is the earliest research andengineering application of viscous damping walls, but in the domestic research for viscousdamping wall is just beginning, there is seldom works should be used. Therefore, thispaper is meaningful to study on vibration in high-rise concrete frame structure in thecontrol of viscous damping wall.Firstly, through the study of viscous damping wall at home and abroad, and the maincontents of this paper, the calculation formula and the mechanical model, so as to lay agood foundation for calculation and analysis. Secondly, the analysis to determine themodel structure, the structure of the modal analysis in without control, period, frequencyand vibration modes of the structure determined. Finally, in order to study the viscousdamping wall in high-rise reinforced concrete frame structure vibration control, In thispaper on the basis of modal analysis, setting viscous damping walls in the correspondinglocation, using the method of FNA in the software of Sap2000, first carries on the analysison the vibration of structure under different conditions, select the optimized condition (theforth condition),based on the status of the forth, transform different spectrum anddamping parameters, study the effect of viscous damping wall in different spectralcharacteristics and the reasonable range of damping parameters, so as to providereasonable suggestions for the application of viscous damping wall in high-rise reinforcedconcrete frame structure.Through the comparative analysis, this paper obtains: the viscous damping wall hassignificant damping to the structure, and the damping effect increases with the number ofviscous damping wall;Additional damping force of viscous damping wall increases with theincrease of earthquake acceleration; through comparative analysis of different workingconditions, the additional damping wall centralized configuration in the below of thestructure, can achieve more damping effect; Through the contrastive analysis of differentcharacteristics of spectrum, the additional viscous damping wall structure in differentspectral characteristics, although the damping effect is different, but can play a significanteffect of energy dissipation. Also can draw each control point of the maximum response is to better control, but also in the duration of the seismic waves have the remarkable dampingeffect; Through comparison and Analysis on different damping parameters, proposed thereasonable parameters of the viscous damping wall in the high-rise reinforced concreteframe structure: damping exponent is0.3~0.5, damping coefficient Cw is20000~40000kN.s/m.
