Centrifugal compressor is the key equipment of the process industry. If there is a breakdown that made the production interruption, it will result in huge economic loss. As the process industry scale expands unceasingly, the demand of centrifugal compressor performance parameters is higher, and The probability of centrifugal compressor failure is higher. The cause of failure is largely caused by rotor instability, In order to reduce the probability of failure, and Avoid the happening of downtime, the rotor is necessary to vibration active control, and to achieve the object of the online fault self-healing.So it is of great economic significance to active control of rotor vibration fault.Actuators are key components in the active vibration control system, as electromagnetic bearing can impose controllable electromagnetic force on rotor without contact, this paper apply it as actuator to centrifugal compressor vibration active control. Centrifugal compressor structure is compact, and could not effectively installation vibration active control actuators, In view of the centrifugal compressor balance disc place has a larger axial space used for fluid sealing, the electromagnetic actuator can installed on the balance disc, As much as possible make the control force achieve better control effect. This paper combine the characteristics of the centrifugal compressor balance disc structure, damping seal groove processing way and the structure of the electromagnetic bearing, and proposes a electromagnetic actuator with sealing function, meanwhile the electromagnetic properties of the actuator has carried on the finite element simulation and experimental research, the main work and contributions of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper simulate the electromagnetic characteristics of electromagnetic bearing under8poles and12poles, analyze and compare the electromagnetic force and coupling characteristics of the two structure; Build the test bench and measure the12pole electromagnetic bearing electromagnetic force along with the change of current and air gap; Set up a corresponding12pole electromagnetic bearing2D and3D finite element model, and analyze the electromagnetic force under the same condition with experiment, finally compare the three electromagnetic fore.Secondly, introduce the centrifugal compressor Balance disc sealing structure, Proposed a structure of the electromagnetic actuator with sealing function that is installed on the centrifugal compressor balance disc, and analyzed the structure of seal member and seal hole arrangement;Thirdly,established finite element model of electromagnetic actuator with sealing function, Analyses the electromagnetic force change with the sealing structure, such as open porosity, pore diameter and pore deep, meanwhile Analysis of the loss in the seal member Fourthly, build test bench and measure electromagnetic force of the electromagnetic actuator with sealing structure, Measure the magnetic polar magnetic flux density before and after opening seal hole, measure electromagnetic force that is producted by electromagnetic actuator under different current, compare with the simulation results and the experimental results and analyze the reasons of error.The research can provide new thought for centrifugal compressor fault diagnosis and self-healing which is based on electromagnetic control mechanism.
