Cold recycling technology of Asphalt Pavement has the following advantages: correct the pavement diseases, improve the quality of service; make use of Recycled Asphalt Pavement, reduce the waste of resources, protection of ecological environment; reduce the project cost. Under the situation of the increasingly strained resources, growing awareness of environmental protection, sustainable development has been promoted in the national, It is of great significance that the development of cold recycling technology of asphalt pavement, to realize the sustainable development of highway in our country and the construction of the green transportation.While the cold recycled asphalt mixes’s mixing, paving, rolling is at the room temperature and has a larger VV of the mixture after completion of curing. Meanwhile the road performance is difficult to reach the standard of the hot-mix asphalt.It is not directly used as the the road surface, but also need to add on it with a certain thickness of hot mix asphalt mixture (HMA). In the construction process of HMA, cold regeneration layer asphalt mixture can be heated by HMA, and the effect of construction machinery, cold regeneration layer will be further densification as the HMA temperature can reach150-190℃. In the existing design method, the compaction process is not considered, and the cold regeneration layer’state after the completion of curing is considered as the final state of mixture. There exists a certain deviation. It is unable to provide the basis for quality control and accurate parameters for the asphalt pavement structure design. Consequently, optimization study on design method of the emulsified asphalt cold recycling mixture is carried out based on the existing cold recycled mixture design method and JiaoZhou Bay express highway maintenance.This article first introduces the formation mechanism of strength of ement-emulsified asphalt cold-recycling mixture and the design method of cold recycling mixture. According to China’s cold recycling t mix proportion design,we paved the test road, VV changes of cold recycling pavement core samples of up to10.4%and the regeneration layer on up (0-8cm) and below (8-16cm) porosity also has bigger difference21%after the paving of HMA.In order to research the changes of W, we must make it clear that the influence of cold regeneration layer temperature field during paving HMA, the phase device to test the regeneration layer temperature distribution by application of temperature acquisition and analyses the regeneration layer temperature field by using Fluent finite element software. In the2cm depth, the temperature can reach88℃.The error range is wiyhin3.4%, this shows that Fluent is an effective method.Study on temperature field of the regeneration layer which is used as the base and the sub-course when paving different temperature, thickness of the HMA by using Fluent, and gives the corresponding function between the highest temperature in time varying with depthThe effect of delay forming and curing method of recycled mixture and comparison of different methods for determination of bulk density is carried out. Bulk density increases from CoreLok method, wax sealing method, surface dry method to volume method. The result of wax sealing method is the most similar to Corelok method on measuring bulk density.Finally, baseing on the principle of the indoor Marshall specimens have the same W with the base core samples before and after HMA consruction, Optimized Design Method of Emulsified Asphalt Cold-Recycling Mixture is put forward.
