| With the rapid development of China’s national economy and the growing trendof energy shortage, energy conservation has become an important strategy forsustainable development in China. Architecture as high energy consumption,construction of the overall resources, energy consumption accounted for50%of thetotal energy consumption. Therefore, the concept of green building emerged as thetimes require. Measured from all aspects, to achieve green building performance goalsshould be based on building materials. But at present about building materials selectionmethods, only emphasize the saving energy and production of carbon emissions,ignoring its economy and the construction operation stage effect. Therefore, this paperexamined the materials overall economy and life cycle environmental impact on thegreen building, starting on the selection of retaining structure materials research, usingthe e-Quest,carry out the research on the contribution rate of energy saving buildingmaterials. After all, using the life cycle assessment methods, put forward a series ofpublic building window and wall selection system and method in cold regions. Theresearch contents and results are as follows:(1) The results show that the thermal transmittance of external window, is one ofthe important indexes affecting energy consumption of public building in cold regions.Considering the cost increment, this paper obtained the outside window appropriateselection scheme which includes the effect of energy and the relatively shortestappropriate payback period investment.(2) The results show that the thermal transmittance of external wall, is one ofthe important indexes affecting energy consumption of public building in cold regions.Its level is characterized by insulation thickness. According to the simulation ondifferent thickness of insulating layers, Considering the cost increment, this paperobtained the external wall appropriate selection scheme which includes the effect ofenergy and the relatively shortest appropriate payback period investment.(3) According to the simulation on the change of outside window shade coefficient and addition of external adjustable shading, observing the influence on the buildingenergy saving, this paper put forward that it is suitable for the use of external shadingtechnology to reduce public building energy consumption in cold regions.(4) Using the above study results to select the outside window and external wallapproach at the same time, this study obtained the optimal selection scheme for everyenergy saving rate.(5) Based on the above results, and the life cycle assessment methodology, thisstudy obtained the final selection scheme with minimum consumption of building lifecycle energy.This research first emphasized that the selection of building materials should bebased on the goal of the construction energy conservation. It is very important forbuilding materials selection. |
