Road construction project is a strong technical and policy work which involves abroad range of factors,combined with its engineering difficulty, long duration, highinvestment and far-reaching, we should be very carefully when determine theroad-building program. Road alignment is the priority work of road construction,selection is reasonable or not directly determines the specific program of roadconstruction, scientific and reasonable line selection scheme, not only make thestructure stable durable, easy maintenance, but also improve driving safety andeconomic comfort, really achieve the goal that engineering cost ssociate with the use ofa unified quality. So a road alignment design should fully consider the impact of variousfactors, should seek a comprehensive consideration of all aspects of the project itself,etc., economic and social, to give the best option.Based on the basic theory analysis of road alignment,We summarize current statusof road alignment of our country,presente its shortcomings.On this basis, we introducethe Multi-objective Comprehensive Evaluation theory, analyse the system of varioustypes of indicators approach,weighting method and comprehensive evaluation model,then on this basis build a road alignment comprehensive evaluation index system.System integrate road alignment for optimum overall goal, selecte technical indicators,economic indicators and environmental indicators for the sub-goal, and the sub-goal ofselecting the appropriate constraints evaluated. For right between the sub-goal and theoverall goal of weight coefficients, we use the improved AHP to calculate; for the rightof constraining factors and weighting coefficients between each index, we take intoaccount the strengths and weaknesses of subjective and objective weighting method, theuse of improved AHP and the standard deviation of the Combination of integratedweight method to determine the weight value.Finally we establish a comprehensiveevaluation model of linear weighting the various options for a comprehensiveevaluation, obtain the optimal route selection scheme.In this paper,we select an instance line of road work to comprehensive evaluationof multi-objective route selection scheme in Chuzhou City. According to the evaluationresults, this example demonstrates a multi-objective comprehensive evaluation systemin the road alignment optimization science and rationality, it also proves the importance of this study. Finally, the paper summarizes the research and proposed deficiencies andfuture direction of the study.
