With the rapid development of social economy, the urban transport pressure is increasing. More and more people pay attention to urban railway transit as a resource-saving and environment-friendly public transportation. Urban rail transit vehicle super capacitor energy storage system can be effectively stored the energy and provide energy when the trains needed.Firstly, give a simple elaboration of the basic principle, the main characteristics and the basic equivalent circuit of super capacitors. Determine Buck-Boost converter circuit to the main circuit structure by analyzing the super capacitor energy storage system; analyze the Buck-Boost converter circuit work process, build a mathematical model; analyzed the average current control mode which super capacitor energy storage system commonly used.Analyze the super capacitor energy storage system through several aspects such as the system architecture, the work process and system problems. Establish a concise, systematic and representative evaluation system. By energy density, power density, charge and discharge efficiency, the power capacity, capacity utilization, ability to maintain the voltage and other characteristic to evaluated the performance of the super capacitor energy storage system.Improve the performance of the super capacitor energy storage system, in order to further improve capacity utilization super capacitor, reducing the volume of the power converter to improve the stability of the system, reducing the DC bus current ripple. Specific improvements are proposed scheme from the control structure of the system and inverter structures, systems of these areas. Using the maximum instantaneous current control, reducing the charge and discharge current fluctuations, to prevent the current super; using multiple storage systems to replace the original unit separate energy storage systems in order to achieve reduced the DC bus current ripple and improve system stability purposes; through improvement of the inverter, and improve system efficiency to increase the volume of the volume of the contradiction between the power decreases. By means of simulation and verification of the super capacitor energy storage system improvements are achieved the intended purpose.
