| In recent years, china’s railway industry has entered a rapid developing period. By the end of2013, the national railway mileage has reached100,000kilometers and the electrification rate reached52.4%. Electric locomotive is of key important traction tool, can improve the speed and traction tones, thus improve the railway transport capacity and trafficability magnificently. It is the development trend of the world recognized.However, the operation safety and reliability of railway vehicle have been the focus of the public.Therefore, the structural strength and research the crashworthiness performance of electric locomotive are analysed in this paper.Firstly, the background and the significance of the research are summarized in this paper, the current researches and what have been achieved at home and abroad are introduced, the strength analysis and crash simulation theory and key technologies are described briefly. Secondly, the car body finite element simulation model is established when fully understand the main technical parameters and structural features, then according to the structural static analysis and modal analysis technology specification, the structural strength and modal are analysed. The results show that the general stress distribution is reasonable, local structure appear stress concentration. Some improvement opinions and methods are proposed. The strength and the modal of improved structure meet the requirements. Then, the simulation model of locomotive crash with rigid wall are established and analysed. After analyzing the factors influencing crashworthiness on the tapered thin-walled tube and understanding the car body structure characteristics, the energy absorption structure is designed and analysed. The results show that the energy absorption characteristics of energy absorption device behaviored well, the crashworthiness performance of the locomotive which equipped with the energy absorption device is greatly improved than previous. Finally, three kinds of typical locomotive crash conditions are analysed according to the related standard, the results show that the crashworthiness performance meet the requirements of the standard.The structural strength and the crashworthiness performance of the locomotive car body are analysed in this paper using the finite element method, it provides certain reference for the car body structure design in the future. |
