Single stage high speed gear transmission is used in the high pressure small flow centrifugal compressor with integral gear revolving speed is35000r/min, which easily lead to deformation of meshing gears, and result in the interference and dynamic load of meshing gears. At the same time, the modulus of the helical gear of the high pressure small flow centrifugal compressor with integral gear is low, and the contact ratio is high, which can cause more interference. Interference can cause the impact of meshing gears, and even cause the damage of the gear. Therefore, it is necessary to profile modification for the helical gear of the high pressure small flow centrifugal compressor with integral gear.Firstly, establish the model of helical gear in the software’UG6.0’, then assemble, clip, and put the entity model into the software’ANSYS’. Then analysis nonlinear contact static of meshing gears, and check whether the strain nephogram analysed meets the strength requirements. Through the three elements of the profile modification of the helical gear involute tooth, the amount of modification, the modification curve length and modification curve, make a modification design on the gear tooth profile. Put the maximum displacement deformation under the static analysis as the amount of modification, we can get the result of the software’ANSYS’analysis that the modification of the amount of addendum involute tooth profile is3.17μm and the modification of the amount of tooth root involute tooth profile is3.21μm. Through calculating the length of the tooth profile modification curve,we know the modification of the length of the driven gear tooth root of involute tooth profile is10.447mm, and the modification of the length of the driven gear tooth top of involute tooth profile is3.269mm. Straight line and sine curve are selected as modification curve. Establish model in UG6.0by the modification linear programmed in MATLAB, comparing with the static analysis previous, we found the gear with modification linear is better. In ANSYS/ls-dyna, make a dynamic analysis respectively on the gear without modification, the straight line modification gear of involute tooth profile and the sine curve modification gear of involute tooth profile. After comparison we found, the stress changes of the sine curve modification is uniform and there are few mutations. Using sine curve modification, the effect of the tooth profile of the driven wheel gear tooth profile of the high pressure small flow centrifugal compressor with integral gear is better.
