After the boom ofdecoration,the trends of interior design towards soft decoration.Whether from the decorationor ecological, the soft decoration give the sustainable development of decoration industry anew direction. soft decoration is relative to the hard structure space of the building itself,and itis the extension of the original building visual space.The concept,element of soft decoration,and the role of soft decoration in indoorenvironment mainly refer to the domestic and foreign journal literature. And then master someinformation and the current situation of soft decoration in our country.from knowing themainstream of the soft decoration, the European neoclassicism style will be the researchdirection.In this paper, it based on the research of the neoclassical European style, the trends ofsoft decoration in our country. taking an example of villa space, to study the design principlesof neoclassical European style. At the same time, the author add some her own ideas, to studythe use of neoclassical European style in the actual case.
