With the construction of traffic’s develop in the western region, The long span continuousrigid frame bridge has been used widely because of its good adaptability to the special terrain.Because the continuous rigid frame bridge is a kind of complex structure and the westernregion is earthquake-prone areas, So its earthquake response needed attracted people’sattention to ensure the rigid frame bridage seismic performance to meet the requirementsneeded. This paper studies the different pier height and the different side of the span ratio onseismic behavior, including the following aspect:(1)The thesis first summarized the characteristics of rigid frame bridge, Summarized theactuality of seismic response study, then expounded the basic theory of the bridge’s seismicresponse, elaborated response spectrum analysis method and dynamic time-history analysismethod in detail.(2)Established models and then dynamic analysis was carried out and the traveling waveeffects on the bridge structure was debated.(3)Analyzed the vibration characteristics and seismic responses of the models withdynamic time-history analysis method, the result show that with the pier height increases thevibration frequency, the internal force and the damage form will change. In the same time, thetraveling wave effect on the bridge’s seismic performance affected by the pier height, thelower piers’ force of the pier end decreased and the top increased, the higher piers’ forceopposed the lower.(4)Analyzed the stress of structure changed with different ratios, the result show that thesuitable ratio is0.55. The direction of the seismic wave will affect the response and the top ofthe piers’...
