The hardware of medium and small span bridge health monitoring system is designed in detail, including sensor system, data transmissionsystem and power supply system.The system software developed by JAVA language, using B/S pattern, SOAarchitecture, DES data encryption, a computer version and the mobile phone version,providing the bridge state analysis, early warning, query statistics, data exchange andsensor management function.The the project of bridge health monitoring system is composed of sensorhardware system, data transmission system, power supply system and data analysissystem. The hardware system is composed of104resistive sensors and fiber opticsensors and5sets of data acquisition instrument; data transmission system iscomposed of data acquisition instrument within the3G module and Ethernettransceiver; power supply system consists of solar power supply system and powercable system; data analysis and Bridge virtual machine system is provided by theinformation center of Department of transportation Hainan Province health evaluationplatform software. Through the loading test of different axle load of the vehicle, thesystem data meet the design requirements.
